Dolphin trip!

Hi from beautiful Sagres. Last week we went on a Dolphin trip from Sagres Port. An incredible outing to see these beautiful animals it could not have been more enjoyable. We went with Marilimitado, a great local tour run by friendly and informed marine biologists. Things to do in Sagres

If you are thinking of what to do in Sagres, visit the incredible Sagres Fortress. It is within easy walking distance from the cottage & apartment. Set upon high cliffs and surrounded by the Atlantic on three sides, it is a dramatic setting. The waves down here are amazing. There is always somewhere to go here in the SW Algarve. Today we have a big north swell of over 3 metres pounding the Sagres & west beaches of Tonel, Castelejo and Cordoama. Added to that a levante southern swell of almost 2 metres is hitting the south coast breaks like Mareta and Zavial. Combined wave sizes making it too big for us middle-aged longboarders!
