two swells
The waves down here are amazing. There is always somewhere to go here in the SW Algarve.
Today we have a big north swell of over 3 metres pounding the Sagres & west beaches of Tonel, Castelejo and Cordoama. Added to that a levante southern swell of almost 2 metres is hitting the south coast breaks like Mareta and Zavial. Combined wave sizes making it too big for us middle-aged longboarders!
Luckily we managed to get a sail in yesterday in our new Trimaran before the swell arrived. We sailed from Lagos across Meia Praia bay in light east wind for a couple of hours in the sunshine which was extremely wonderful!
