The main airport for the Algarve is FARO - a 90 minute drive.
Alternately fly into LISBON - approx a 4hr drive.

We always recommend car hire. It is an easy drive to Sagres, and when you are here you will be able to access the incredible area and explore the beautiful landscape and beaches and surroundings.
Book online before you come and pick up your car at the airport.

The drive to Sagres from Faro will take approx 90 minutes.
And approx 4 hours from Lisbon.
From Faro follow signs to the A22 toll road in the direction of Portimao & Lagos.
From Lisbon drive south on the IP1 down to the A22.

Once on the A22 travel west to the second Lagos exit (marked Vila do Bispo). Then take the N125 westwards to Sagres.
If you prefer to not go on the toll road from the airport, follow signs from Faro to the N125 - direction Almancil, Albufeira, Portimao & Lagos. This will take longer.

On entering Sagres, drive up the main approach road towards a roundabout.
Before you reach the roundabout turn right opposite an old water tower into Rua do Tonel.
The cottage is in the 2nd properties on the right hand side. Parking is freely available opposite the properties on Rua do Tonel.
